An international automotive OEM is looking for a Group Compliance Supervisor to be based in Pretoria for an 18 months contract. The role requires you To implement, entrench and sustain Legal, System and Group binding obligations in order to ensure long term overall compliance across Group After Sales in accordance with the changing compliance expectations in order to uphold benchmark governance for the Division.

KEY DUTIES

  • Implement, entrench, and sustain Legal, System and Volkswagen Group binding obligations in order to ensure long term overall compliance across the the After Sales Division by interacting with the relevant stakeholders and thereby adopting compliance expectations as measured by internal and external audits.
  • Develop a holistic comprehension of the current and changing governance landscape related to the After Sales environment by research and monitoring in order to develop appropriately tailored responses for respective Group After Sales departments per respective sites including Centurion, Cape Town, Sandton and P.E
  • Ensure there is effective communication and change management for the successful delivery of compliance systems including ISO, Environmental Compliance Management System (ECMS) and Product Compliance Management System (PCMS) in order to ensure a reputable and compliant organisation.
  • Identify training content and coordinate / implement enhanced compliance related processes and provide tools and systems to support stakeholders (employees and contractors) process improvements and measurement in order to improve governance.
  • Analyse current compliance related processes and systems at all levels and how these impact on stakeholders’ ability to adhere to binding obligations in order to ensure that internal processes support and enhance the stakeholders’ capability to deliver on governance.
  • Define the measurement criteria to evaluate the success for each  site by developing an accurate reporting system for departmental KPI’s in order to clearly identify whether there are areas of non-adherence to compliance topics that would otherwise build up to a non-compliant organisation.
  • Support departments, who are in the process of implementing governance related initiatives through ongoing change and performance management in order to secure a compliance driven culture change and new business processes.
  • Appoint and manage designated service providers with the required specialised skills to support the rollout of governance and compliance monitoring, initiatives/interventions, including communication and systems.
  • Address non-compliance by compiling specific inter-departmental action plans per GAS site including training and stakeholder development where suitable.
  • Manage the complexity and roll-out of projects to respective GAS sites within different environments, regions, groups, cultures and stakeholders in order to achieve/maintain a consistent quality of governance.
  • Report to Management, P/ECMS Steering Committee and related forums on compliance services status in the form of presentations in order to keep them abreast of the progress and receive input.
  • Process audit results and monitor key compliance related performance indicators in order to develop corrective actions within the prescribed timelines as required in order to ensure a consistently high governance across the Group After Sales organisation.

Minimum experience & qualifications requirements

  • A   Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management or equivalent
  • Associated ISO 45001, 14001, 50001, Quality Management and Product compliance certification
  • Project Management skill would be advantageous.
  • 5 years’ experience in supporting externally & internally influenced compliance system requirements among corporate binding commitments.
  • Good knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Management System (ISO45001); Energy and Environmental Management (ISO50001 and ISO14001 respectively).
  • Understanding of Group Directives governing Product Compliance Management System (PCMS) and Environmental Compliance Management System (ECMS)
  • Experience/knowledge in Environmental and Health & Safety laws.
  • Proven interaction across a multi department/divisional framework of a large corporation.

SAP ET2000 SYSTEMS Sales & Distribution KEY LEAD

To ensure the effective continuous planning, mapping and integrating of Group Parts processes to match the requirements of the SAP ET2000 and other interfacing system (e.g. Auto Part, E-Parts etc.) support. Ensuring timeous troubleshooting on systems issues relating to Auto part & SD (Sales and Distribution) processes.

KEY DUTIES

  • Monitor interfaces and jobs related to Sales & Distribution processes on ET2000 (SD) to ensure no time lost due to system problems
  • Ensure minimum disruptions to the daily business processes, through a well maintained and stable SAP ET2000, AutoPart and Business Warehouse (BW) systems
  • Ensure a continuous and stable integration of data flow between SAP ET2000, AutoPart and E-Parts systems.
  • Identify, co-ordinate and troubleshoot all key Group Parts processes by liaising with all functional supervisors and key leads in order to map the “current” and “proposed” process flows when it comes to all new systems projects i.e. AutoPart.
  • Constant mapping of the key Group Parts system processes upgrades pertaining to SD with the departmental users and external service providers to ensure that the “proposed” process flow is implemented according to the business needs and also one set of documentation is generated.
  • Carry out a Supportive Project Management role in new Systems implementation, i.e. systems that interface with SAP ET2000 such as AutoPart and system process changes and improvements on SAP Modules as per business plan and requirements pertaining to SD.
  • Ensure that all Project targets are met in terms of Costs/Budget, Timing and Quality and minimize risks to the projects pertaining to SD.
  • Elimination of unnecessary elements with current processes in consultation with other key lead members so as to achieve process improvements.
  • Lead, manage and support the SAP Module (SD) during system and process implementations and resolution of system process related problems.
  • Provide and Implement AutoPart solutions and process changes for the business.
  • Act as bridge between the dealer network and ET 2000 key leads to ensure system health and compliance
  • Liaise and support relationships with the company ET2000 Governance teams (GPIC and PSAT)in absence of the ET2000 consultant to ensure timely approval of new change requests.

 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL:

  • Tertiary Commerce qualification or alternatively an IT/ Process element qualification.
  • SAP Exposure
  • 5 years’ experience in the information systems field in the motor industry or equivalent
  • Be methodical with sound administrative skills Good decision making and analytical skills
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of the automotive OEM Group Parts business processes would be an added advantage
  • Thorough knowledge of automotive GP Sales & Marketing computer systems would be an added advantage.
  • 2 –3 Years Group Parts Background / Experience (Preferably in Sales & Marketing) would be an added advantage
