We are looking at placing a Young Professional in our Corporate Strategy Division to be based in P.E

Job Description and Responsibilities      

  • Developing Financial & Business Models for Pre-Feasibility & Feasibility of business opportunities for decision making by the Board of Management
  • Understanding manipulating and interpreting financial data and commercial documentation and reports, drawing appropriate conclusions.
  • Identifying concepts for alternative business models for alternative revenue streams.
  • Working with Service Provider (SP) & internal resources to develop quantitative business modelling to tools to assess pre-feasibility of alternative revenue projects.
  • Working with other teams to align data models definition.
  • Developing required business structures for new business revenue streams.
  • Analysing market scenarios and opportunities, conduct feasibility studies and present proposals on alternative revenue streams including Mobility Solutions.
  • Supporting and assisting management in the smooth implementation of new business modelling projects and corporate strategy in Sub-Saharan Africa in accordance with the approved budget and timing.
  • Supporting the corporate Strategy Manager in the Development of Mobility Service offering for Africa and bespoke services including development of the roll-out requirements for Africa for project implementation
  • Supporting Corporate Strategy Manager with the deliverables required to achieve the Company’s developed Strategy which may include additional non-core tasks
  • Responsible for project management pertaining to financial modelling and running cross functional teams and input where required
  • Staying up to date with latest business trends

Education and Experience        

  • BCom in Finance or Economics/ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) /MBA (with any undergrad)
  • 2-3 years Financial & Business Modelling experience
  • Business Modelling skills
  • Excellent Computer skills (MS Office, outlook etc.)
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Ability to present and communicate effectively at all levels
  • Must be a team player and be able to work independently
  • Must be a self-starter, highly engaged and self-driven
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Be able to run meetings
  • Ability to run modelling projects and cross functional team members
