An automotive OEM is looking for a Manager Finance (Projects) to be based in JHB North. The position reports to the General Manager: Finance (Sales & Marketing), this position will fulfil the necessary requirements within the department to meet objectives with regards to providing technical, financial and project management support in the feasibility of new products and services, including new ventures/companies. The position will also provide support for the Finance team in various projects and initiatives. This position forms part of the Finance (Sales & Marketing) Group and is based in Sandton, Johannesburg.

• Analyse and interrogating costs and assumptions.

• Support in setting up new ventures (i.e., co. structure, Business Plan, Accounting, Regulatory requirements, Tax considerations, impact and alignment to company activities
• Support to Finance team in operationalizing various business projects/initiatives
• Contribute to review(s) on completion of projects to identify lessons learned and enhance future quality and commercial planning.
• Management Accounts and Financial Accounting support for the current team Preparation of annual budget for relevant entities
• Provide timeous and accurate information is available to allow business to evaluate options and support decision making.
• Sox Compliance Monitoring and Reporting
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• NQF 7 level qualification (420 credits) – B. Com Honours degree or equivalent, with 4-8 years’ relevant experience. CIMA would be an advantage.
• Motor industry experience will be advantageous.
• Experience interacting and operating at management level.
• PC literacy (MS Office Advanced) and SAP knowledge is essential.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets (e.g., in Excel)
