Salesforce Snr. Specialist Solution Architecture
ROLE SUMMARY
- This is a regional (International Markets Group) role located in South Africa in the Pretoria Plant. The individual will report to the IT Product Line Manager CRM (Marketing).
- As a CRM Solution Architect, you will provide both process design/reengineering as well as technical and architecture expertise for the delivery of CRM solution across our region by leveraging the latest delivery best practice/approach and enterprise architecture concepts.
- You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and identifying opportunities for process improvement to ensure the successful adoption of CRM technologies in the region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Design, build, and deliver tailored solutions for the business using Salesforce and other connected technologies
- Manage various salesforce projects, including gathering information, planning, and executing projects.
- Formulate and maintain salesforce solution documentation. (e.g., process flows, data models, and technical specifications)
- Work with the design team to ensure that the most significant business operations are addressed.
- Collaborate with development teams for any required customizations or integrations.
- Educates and promotes CRM standard procedures to guarantee that the solutions produced are highest in class for the business’s overall strategy and ethos.
- Create a requirements management strategy for the project, which describes the process for elicitation, documentation standards, and formats.
- Familiarity with the backlog grooming process, attributes, review, and approval process.
- Plan and monitor scope by ensuring that needs are within the SOW’s scope and communicating any variances for inclusion in the change control process.
- Assist the product owner in defining value and priority and selecting scope for upcoming releases and sprints by facilitating the continuing backlog grooming process.
- Maintain a functional grasp of the business requirements and project solutions.
- Provide day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance for the connected Salesforce platform
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business intelligence and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for data-driven insights to enhance business processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
- Excellent knowledge of and shown proven expertise with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ, Marketing cloud would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of development tools and processes that will aid in formulating use cases and designing project requirements.
- Ability to apply critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced atmosphere while managing various requests is needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build sustainable applications.
- An analytical problem solver who knows and employs all declarative automation and Salesforce ecosystem features.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities, as well as the ability to communicate successfully with both technical and non-technical customers.
- Ability to grasp the requirements of clients from diverse sectors and translate/present those demands into a compelling vision and roadmap for our clients.
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodology such as Scrum, Kanban, Agile, SAFe, DevOps, and technology such as Jira and Confluence.
- Salesforce implementation experience across the whole Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, management information systems
5+ years of work experience in Salesforce solution implementation projects and Marketing and Sales business process
Experience in Automotive industry preferred
Minimum Salesforce certified:
- o Administrator
- o Sales Cloud Consultant
- o Marketing Cloud Consultant (advantage)
- o Service Cloud Consultant (optional)
- o Platform App Builder (optional)
- o Automotive Cloud (advantage)
Bring deep knowledge/skills in technology/non-technology aspects of the platform
Demonstrated platform proficiency
Extensive experience in designing solutions for key and/or complex multi-cloud projects
Functional leadership in all phases of the project
Accustomed to interaction and involvement with/of the client in each phase of the project
Strong team leadership skills, excellent problem-solving and client-facing skills; ability to quickly process complex information and evolving entrepreneurial skills
