A well established manufacturing company based in Durban is looking for a Senior Financial Manager to direct the accounting functions of the company. Responsible for the formulation and maintenance of the company’s accounting and financial policies and practices. Liaises with all departments in the preparation of budgets and financial reports.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS includes:
- Participate as a member of the executive team.

- Advise on the optimum financing options for the company to ensure that there is an optimum balance between employment of company capital and loan financing.

Minimum Qualifications and experience required.
- Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)
- Bcom Honours in Accounting / Financial Accounting plus completed CTA 1 & 2
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years post qualification with at least (3) years working in a financial management role in an automotive manufacturing environment.Used to working in a small to medium enterprise and able to successfully implement best practice financial systems in such an environment.
- Strong costing experience in a manufacturing environment – preferably automotive.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office and Accounting packages
