Full-time A well known automotive manufacturer in Pretoria is looking for an Accounts Payables Analyst from the automotive environment
Applications are invited from suitably qualified & experienced candidates to fill the Local Accounts Payables Analyst position in the Accounts Payable Department – Finance (Kariega)
Brief Role Description
- Processing of documentation for locally purchased goods and services, addressing supplier queries and ensuring adherence to SARS requirements.
- Ensuring that Suppliers are paid timeously and accurately in accordance with Purchase Orders, Company Guidelines and Accounting Principles.
- Calculate price differences, analyse General Ledger Accounts, post month end entries, reconcile accounts and conduct daily payment runs.
Possible Tasks within this Role
- Processing of invoices, debit notes and credit notes for goods and services
- Ensure documentation meets SARS requirements
- Ensure that Input VAT is claimed correctly
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Analysing outstanding items
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Obtaining Approvals when required
- Verifying supplier banking details
- Request update of vendor master records
- Submitting Forecast information
- Meeting VOKUS month end and year end deadlines
Qualification & Experience requirements
- Have a B.Com degree with Accounting 3 or a National Diploma with Accounting 3
- Have 2-3 years Accounts Payable experience in a Manufacturing concern
Essentials
- Knowledge of Application Systems, particularly (but not limited to) SAP (Financial Accounting, Logistics, Purchasing).
- Understanding of manufacturing Purchasing, Receiving and Logistics processes.
- Be computer literate in MS Office and SAP
- Have the ability to communicate at all levels
- Be disciplined and be able to perform under pressure
- Have a high degree of accuracy
