A well known international automotive OEM is expanding their team looking to fill the following vacancies based in Pretoria.
Government Fleet Sales Consultant – Client Experience Manager
- Promote the company as a key OEM role player in the South African market and the sell the products via the dealer network and directly.
- This is a customer facing role which requires a professional, well presented individual who is committed to delivering exceptional service.
- This role will help to maintain and grow the SA market share as well exceed sales objectives monthly/ quarterly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Generation: Identifying and targeting new business opportunities within the rental, leasing and corporate sales areas to achieve or exceed the sales objectives as defined in the annual budget.
- Client Engagement: Developing and nurturing strong relationships with existing and prospective rental, leasing and corporate clientele, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
- Formulate and implement tender strategies designed to enhance the chances of achieving the best possible nominations on the RT57 Contract for the supply of vehicles to the Government and negotiate annual tender prices with the Company executive management to ensure the best possible nominations for the Company.
- Client Support: Provide holistic sales and service support to portfolio of clients. Maintain detailed tracking of all vehicle orders and deliveries. Manage and control all service providers such as convertors/ bodybuilders and accessory fitters (canopy suppliers etc.) to ensure on time order delivery.
- Market Research: Performing market research to uncover trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
- Sales Support: Preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials to assist in business development efforts.
- Networking: Representing the car brand at events, networking sessions etc
- Collaboration: Partnering with the Sales Manager and team members to implement strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and regularly updating the management team.
- Achieve or exceed yearly sales targets as per annual budget.
- Track payment schedules and assist Finance in recovering any outstanding amounts (payments within 30 days).
- Assist monthly with input on the sales program.
- Monitor inventory to ensure stock is kept within agreed parameters (<10% old inventory)
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
- National Diploma/ Bachelors degree in Marketing Management or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years sales orientated experience (retail or fleet experience will be advantageous)
- Excellent Communications Skills – written and verbal
- Strong analytical, MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Refined administrative and planning skills
- Good time and project management skills
- A creative self-starter to see tasks to the end
- Good leadership skills
- Outgoing personality with business acumen
- Ability to motivate special government request for approval by senior management.
- A strong ability to work autonomously while displaying the confidence to make well thought out decisions in the interest of Customer centric mindset – always treating the customer with the utmost respect and professionalism
Remuneration package = Basic Range – R50 000 – R70 000pm, 50% medical aid contr, provident fund, company vehicle with 8 x full tanks per month, cell phone allowance
