Full-time A well known world class packaging manufacturing company is looking a Senior Injection Moulding Setter to be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating Injection Moulding machines to produce plastic products like bottles and containers, ensuring consistent quality by monitoring the manufacturing process, performing necessary adjustments, and troubleshooting any malfunctions, while adhering to production specifications and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and optimise injection moulding machines according to production requirements.
- Install and remove moulds and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adjust and maintain machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time, etc.) to ensure consistent quality output.
- Conduct first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve moulding defects and process issues.
- Maintain moulds, tools, and equipment in good working order.
- Ensure all safety, health, and environmental standards are adhered to.
- Record production data, process settings, and handovers accurately.
Requirements
- N4 qualification in mechanical or Electrical
- At least 5 years experience as an Injection Moulding Setter in a manufacturing environment.
- Sound knowledge of plastics materials and moulding processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
