Our client is one of the leading manufacturing company providing high-quality packaging solutions for various industries. They are currently seeking a qualified Process Maintenance Technician (Injection Moulding) to join their injection moulding team and play a key role in maintaining and optimizing their machinery.

Key Responsibilities: –

Process Responsibilities

  • Set up, start up, and optimize injection moulding machines and associated equipment.
  • Monitor and adjust process parameters to ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and throughput.
  • Conduct troubleshooting on machines and processes to resolve quality or performance issues.
  • Ensure product changeovers and mould changes are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Support new product trials, process improvements, and capability studies.
  • Maintain accurate process records, machine settings, and change logs.

 

Maintenance Duties

  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on injection moulding machines, robotics, conveyors, chillers, compressors, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Conduct mechanical and electrical fault finding, repairs, and replacements.
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment and tooling.
  • Inspect and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Work with the maintenance team to implement planned maintenance schedules (PMs).
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety, quality, and food hygiene standards.
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring breakdowns.
  • Maintain tools, spares, and workshop housekeeping according to company standards

 Minimum Requirements:

  • Qualified Millwright or Electrician (Trade Tested).
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a food packaging or plastics injection moulding environment.
  • Proven experience in injection moulding setup, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience in preventative maintenance, fault finding, and equipment repair.
  • Familiar with food safety, GMP, and HACCP requirements.
  • Computer literacy (experience with maintenance systems an advantage).
  • Willing to work overtime, and call-outs as needed.
